Hi may name is Dezzy,
which is short for Destiny. My foster mom says that I am such a
“sweetheart”! I am completely house trained and have never had
any accidents on the floor. I didn’t have a great life before
now but I’m learning to trust humans.
Since I have been with my
foster mom I have gotten much better on a leash. I used to pull
a lot because I would get so excited, but now I have gotten the
hang of it. I still get excited because I love going for walks
so now I just need someone to adopt me that will take me for
walks.
I get along with most
other dogs, sometimes I don’t like when other dogs are in my
face and bossy. I love to chew on bones. I could use a bit of
that obedience training since I haven’t ever had someone take
time to teach me but I do know how to sit and come when I am
called. I love being in my kennel since this is where I feel
most safe. I would love for someone to give me a second chance
and bring me home to cuddle up next to and love me for the rest
of my doggie days. I will keep you safe and be the best company
you could ask for.
NOTE:
In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids.
In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a
particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL
unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at
all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog,
cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets
can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so
proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any
pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based
solely upon our volunteers' direct experiences with the dog. The
dog's age is an estimate, and statements about the state of
health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with
other animals, children, cats and other dogs, is estimated
solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your
experiences with this dog may be quite different.
