Hello, my name is Dudley and I need a good, loving home.  My previous human pushed me out of a car at the W. 11th Street Park.  I tried to chase after the car but it was too fast and I couldn't catch up.  Luckily a neighbor witnessed some of this and my life took a turn, for the better I hope, with your help.

I'm a (+/-) 10 month old Boxer/Shepherd mix.   I'm sweet, gentle and LOVE to play with other dogs.  I'm very smart and figured out the doggie-door all by myself in 1 minute --- no big deal!   I'm probably just about full grown and weigh 69 pounds.  When I fill out I should be around 75.  But I am still a P-U-P-P-Y!  I'm pretty good at walking-on-leash,  will "sit" if you're holding a treat and I know "off" and "no barking", but I forget sometimes.  I like to chew on bones and toys, get bored easily and want to be wherever YOU are.  I'm learning to play by myself, but left to my own devices, I would be underfoot in the kitchen, bathroom, computer desk, etc.  My kennel and playpen are training tools and NOT a punishment... at least that's what I've been told.   I'm very good at bedtime.  I go in my kennel willingly with a treat and very seldom have to go out in the middle of the night.  I'm usually good for up to 10 hours!

Thanks to the loving care of Dr. Laura Bays at Greenway Animal Clinic, I've had my swollen ankle and bruised spine x-rayed; been neutered; checked for worms and fleas; and vaccinated. I am heartworm negative.  So, I'm good to go!  That's where you come in...

Do you need someone to love you wholeheartedly?  Someone to walk with you and play with you and chill out with you?  I'M YOUR GUY!

Please call Beth @ 713-880-0605 or 713-835-0844.

Check out the pictures attached - I'm the cute one!

Hope to meet you soon...
Dudley

NOTE:  In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids.  In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children.  However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction.  Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species.  Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
