 Trixie
is a beautiful, young White GSD or GSD mix. She is on the small
side, weighing in at only around 40-45 lbs. She was a rescue
from Harris County Animal Control and is approximately 1 year
old. She is an extremely bright, active dog, and needs a forever
home with an individual or family with GSD experience. She is
able to climb her foster mom's six foot wooden fence and she can
jump just about any baby gate in the house. She can also open
doors -- and loves to do so -- and jump up on kitchen counters.
Thus, she needs someone who can work with her and train her to
her full potential. She is really incredibly smart and agile and
would make a great performance dog. Trixie is also a total
sweetheart and loves to snuggle on the couch. She gets along
great with other dogs -- both large and small (although she can
be a little too rough for some really small dogs) -- and she
loves to play. She likes to chase cats who run from her, but she
has never hurt one. Trixie is spayed, has had all her shots, and
is on heartworm preventative. Trixie is truly a diamond in the
rough and will make an incredible companion for the right person
or family.

NOTE:
In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids.
In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a
particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL
unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at
all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog,
cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets
can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so
proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any
pet.
