Hi! My name is Bo. I am nine years old and my favorite sport is playing fetch with a ball or a training dummy. I may not be as fast as I used to be, or able to make as many runs without a little rest in between, but I still love to hear the commands and encouragement from my owner.

I absolutely love people and thrive on attention. I like to be wherever people are. Indoors or out. I am also a good watch dog. If I hear something outside the house, I will cut loose with one of my deep booming barks. I even frightened away some people who were trying to “paper” the trees in our yard. But I want you to know that I have never attacked anyone.

I love my owners and my owners love me. But, I can no longer stay with them because they have a 2 year old little girl and I have growled at her a couple of times. My doctor says that I may have become a little impatient with her due to my age. Regardless, because I am so big, I just can’t stay here anymore since without meaning to, I might just bite the toddler.

So, now I am looking for some special people who will love me and that I can love back.

I am well house trained and very good at obeying a few specific commands
.

Please contact Ray Bacon to adopt this handsome dog!

NOTE:  In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids.  In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children.  However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction.  Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species.  Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
