Maddie

Maddie is a sweet, sweet girl. She has had obedience training, knows basic commands, has very nice house manners, and uses a pet door. Maddie crates well, but could be trusted uncrated in the house.

She loves to go for walks and would probably be a good jogging partner. With Maddie's sweet disposition, she gets along with large and small dogs, and would probably be ok with cats, although we haven't tested her yet.

She doesn't seem to like active teenage boys, and might be better suited to a home with not a whole lot human activity.(Canine activity seems to be fine!) She especially seems to like women, and loves children, too. Maddie loves to play, but is very energetic and strong, and might be a bit much for smaller dogs or children.

Maddie would love to come and be your best friend!

NOTE:  In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids.  In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children.  However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction.  Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species.  Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
