Arwen is a very active female that weighs about 65 pounds. She loves chasing a ball, the rope or just running. She is really enjoying the time that her foster parents are spending with her. As much as she likes playing ball, she loves being outside. She loves spending the night crated in the air conditioning. But she can't wait to go outside when dad leaves for work.
She needs a job! She understands sit, stay and down and will stay while we walk across the back yard and then tell her to come. She doesn't bark when we come and go, and really enjoys her morning and after acknowledgements. "Have a great day Arwen" and "Arwen is such a pretty girl" are music to her ears.
Arwen has not successfully played with her resident sisters, but we are hoping that she will adjust better to accepting them after her spay. We continue to work with her on her socialization, but at this time she needs to be adopted to an only dog home. As we learn more about Arwen we will update her bio.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children.
