I am part of a team and my BFF (Best Friend Forever) is Montana and we need to go as a pair. H/W treatment complete and is able to resume normal activities. Nickname is Woolly Bear as he is a long hair GSD. He presently is underweight and needs to weigh between 70 and 80 lbs. Has trained foster mom to give more treats and extra food because of being underweight. Dakota is a gentle giant. Very laid back and is eager to please. Gets along well with other dogs. He responds with fear to sharp words. Tell him kindly and he is o.k. Likes to follow you around the house. Look into his eyes and you will see love and devotion. His favorite toys are stuffed toys but does like to steal his BFF's (Montana) Kong and the chase is on. Because he is older his "furever" home is with Montana. Knows commands of sit and down. Walks nicely on a leash and rides easily in a SUV. Crates easily but does not have to be crated. Curious with cats.
