Helen is an absolutely gorgeous young German Shepherd Dog who recently arrived in our Rescue with her best friend Griff. She is tan with a black saddle and faded mask. Her classic good looks will take away your breath. You will be smitten by her beautiful brown eyes, her rich, radiant coat, her pleasing personality, and her petite physique. Helen is very affectionate and is always happy to see you. She will want to be an integral part of your family and near you as much as possible.

In order for Helen to develop to her fullest potential, we would like to find her a home that will be focused exclusively on her. Helen is crate trained, house broken, rides well in the car, and has successfully completed a structured obedience class at the renowned Southern Star Training Academy. She is still very much a puppy and needs the exercise and mental stimulation that all GSD puppies require. This noble girl is inquisitive, playful, energetic, and intelligent. Helen is easy to motivate and eager to please. She is at a wonderful age, and even though she has learned all of her obedience commands, but still yearns to learn more. If you think you are the right family, and have the love, time and energy for this extraordinary young lady, you need to take the first step in adopting her by completing an AGSDR adoption application!

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.

The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
