Hello, my name is Lexi! I am a beautiful bi-color GSD. I am about 67 lbs. and 13 months of age, up to date on all vaccines, spayed, housetrained, crate trained and also walk nicely on a leash. My foster mom has also taught me some basic commands. I would bond best with my new human through an obedience class. My foster mom has lots of training experience and says I am a very fast learner and am smart. I would really like a companion and would do very well in a household with an established balanced GSD. Please do understand due to the fact that I am an adolescent, I still need guidance and that comes through loving rules, exercise, and affection. It is of utmost importance that I go to a home that will give me the daily walks I need to be a well balanced dog. If you want to avoid anxiety, digging, chewing and overexcited behavior, I will need an out for the energy a young dog has. The back yard does not count. I get along with all the dogs in the house, small and big; I am also cat friendly. So I am looking for a loving family that will give me an all around fulfilled life.

Love, Lexi

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.

The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
