Pandora is a female GSD who is estimated to be 3-4 years old. She is gentle and quiet. She is beautiful dog with long slender legs. She walks without pulling on a leash and enjoys lounging inside on her dog bed. She crates well but doesn’t need to be crated. She is good with all humans, dogs and ignores the cat. Pandora is very sweet and calm and loves her humans. However, she can get afraid if the humans raise their voice when interacting with her.

She is spayed and fully vetted. She was heartworm positive and treated for that as well. She has recovered fully with no long term effects. She enjoys leisurely walks but is not going to be a running partner. Recently we discovered that Pandora has bad hips. There is dysplasia and some degenerative changes in her hips. This is causing some pain but we have started a new pain medication. Long term her best option is to have total hip replacements. Please consider donating to Pandora’s care for the surgery. The pain medications also can be on the expensive side so every bit will help in her care. We are hoping that Pandora finds her own forever home where she can be the center of attention and live out her live.

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.

The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
