Remi is a 6 ½ month Pure Breed German Shepherd. She is CKC Registered (Continental Kennel Club GS-041393551) and micro chipped as well. Remi is Black and Tan in color and her coat is very soft. I have had her since she was 6 weeks old and has always been on high quality Science diet dog. She has a high energy level and will require lots of daily exercise and attention. She loves to be around people and strives to please.
She is pretty good at being crate trained. However I wouldn’t say she has mastered it yet. She loves to run and play with my 5 y/o male German Shepherd and my sisters 1 y/o Red Heeler. She lets the neighbor boys ages 5-10 play and pet her. She is shy at times but warms up really fast
She has a pancreatic insufficiency which causes her to need a prescription dog food from the vet and medication giving to her 15 minutes before each meal. This is a life time issue and will require this for her entire life. She will come with her food, medication, crate, collar, and leash.
Please email me at: jshrawder1@gmail.com for information regarding adopted Remi. Please provide your name, number and a brief message on why you are a good match for her. Also please include the Vet you will be using for her and his/her contact information. Thank you
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
