What a sweet and handsome boy Bosco is! He will steal your heart! Bosco loves other dogs, large and small, and everyone he meets. He does need someone he can respect or he may take control if he believes he needs to, but is also very loving and his favorite spot is curled up at your feet. He will be a great foot warmer once the weather turns cool!
He does very well with children, too. Loves to go on walks, and walks very nicely on a leash, and is learning basic commands. Bosco does not especially like to be in his crate, but will go, and can be trusted to sleep on his pillow through the night with no accidents and will let you know when he needs to go out. Amazingly, he does not shed nearly as much as many German Shepherds do, which is a big plus. This gorgeous boy won't last long!
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
